Last years group, here in the first picture, together with some of our musicians, Mostafa and Mohamed. Mostafa not only is an awesome sagat player, but he also is one of our dance teachers, especially for saidi-stick dance.
Yes, there are a lot of festivals around the world now where you may take a workshop with egyptian dancers, but believe me, there is nothing than more exciting and fulfilling than dancing and learning oriental dance directly in Egypt with local dancers. Not to forget dancing most of the time to live music.
THIS gives you an extra kick and the magical atmosphere will forever stay in your soul and your heart. You may have heard that already - people say, every time when you are leaving Egypt, a little part of you soul stays there, in order you have to come back again and take it (anyway you will never ever take that peace back again, because it's the same ALL the time you are leaving again!!!)
